From the Mouths of Babes (MKMMA Week 15)

It is in our power to place ourselves in harmony with the “great eternal forces” and thus “express a life of comparative peace and happiness.”  ~Charles F. Haanel

From the Mouths of Babies

Children on Harmony

So we learned in week 15 of our Master Key Master Mind Alliance studies.  When I saw this post by my friend and fellow MKMMAer, Wilma, I realized that most very young children, in their innocence, do indeed live a life of peace and happiness.

They are so trusting and simply act on (apply) the knowledge they have gained.   As Haanel points out, these babies are able to attract what they need for growth and absorb it.  Perhaps we should take a lesson from the children.

Here’s To Harmony! (MKMMA Week 14)

Happy New Year!

Take This Time and Use It Well

2011 is Our Year for Massive Success!

2011 is Our Year

There’s an old saying — “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.”  How many times have you heard that one?  Well, today begins a wonderful new year.  A blank slate upon which we can write our futures.  Now how cool is that!

Have you ever felt like your whole world was just spinning round and round, out of control?  Well I sure have!  In fact, 2010 was like that in many ways.  It was definitely a challenging one, both on a personal level and in my business.

Then I met MarkJ and Davene Januszewski, and was Continue reading

Let Every Day Be Christmas (MKMMA Week 13)

Every Day CAN Be Like Christmas

When We Apply the 7 Laws of the Mind

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Christmas week – always a really hectic time of the year for most of us!  I was making last-minute preparations to go visit my daughter, two of my grandchildren and then my parents for the holidays.  But my mind kept turning back to look at the past year, and all the things I INTENDED to accomplish, but just never quite got around to doing.

It was a challenging year, to say the least.  Then my thoughts turned to all the wonderful things I have learned over the past Continue reading

My Affirmation Tree (MKMMA Week 12)

Not Just For Christmas Anymore

Love Those MKMMA Combinations!

My AffirmationTree

Affirmation Tree

Ah December!  Out with the old — In with the new.  Gee, that sounds like what we’ve been learning in our Master Key Master Mind Alliance classes!  We learned to substitute new habits for old (Law of Substitution) and that by practicing these new habits, they become part of the “new me” each of us is working so hard to develop.

That’s the Law of Practice — one of the Continue reading

Is 2011 Your Year To Succeed? (MKMMA Week 11)

The New Year Is An Open Book

What Will You Write In Yours?

What Will You Write in YOUR 2011 Book?

What Will You Write in YOUR 2011 Book?

About this time of year most people start thinking about next year, and what they plan to do with it.  The infamous “New Year’s Resolutions” are born – only to die a slow and painful death about the end of January or February.

As I was making up my mind that THIS year my resolution will be to maintain and nurture the new positive habits I’ve been developing on this wonderful Master Key journey, I realized that each year we are presented with an open book.  We have a clean slate, so let’s fill it with only the best!  It is truly up to us — You and Me — to decide what to write in this book in the coming year.

Then I received an email from a friend (thanks Ida) that fit perfectly with what Mark and Davene Januszewski have been sharing with our MKMMA class.  I thought it was worth sharing with you here.

Soon the new year starts, so now’s a great time to: Continue reading

Boom or Bust in 2011 (MKMMA Week 10)

Some very timely advice for your Network Marketing business from one of my favorite mentors, MarkJ.  Enjoy!

2 Point Strategy for December
2011 Success Depends on It

(via World’s Laziest Networker Blog)

Dec. Success Strategy

Dec. Success Strategy

YOUR DECEMBER STRATEGY? = BOOM or BUST in 2011 So we’ve learned from Covey how to find and use our voice and it makes sense. But……here comes December…..ut-oh…..holidays?  No one wants to start a business in December….too much going on. Years ago a shoe company sent to salesman to Austrialia……different modes of transportation, neither knew the other was there. Within in 24 hours…..but salesmen contacted the company. One said, “Abor … Read More

Comin’ Up Roses (MKMMA Week 9)

Comin' Up Roses!

Comin' Up Roses!

As a gardener, Haanel’s Week 9 visualization assignment from “The Master Key System” was right up my alley.  This one was fun!   But I have to admit, I did fudge a bit on the assignment.

We were to visualize our favorite flower.   What plant to choose?  That’s a no-brainer for me.  It’s a Continue reading

Eureka! It Works! (MKMMA Week 8)

Eureka! Music Helps!

Eureka! Music Helps!

Wow!  Things are starting to happen!  Opportunities are opening up, now that I know where I’m heading.  The MKMMA material and exercises MarkJ gives us are starting to come together and make sense for me.

At first, when the assignment was given to write our Press Release, I was in a bit of a tizzy.  I suddenly had to face up to the fact that I really did NOT know what I wanted out of life.  Not specifically.  I knew what I didn’t want, but it was Continue reading

Confessions of A Hermit (MKMMA Week 7)

Confessions of A Hermit

Confessions of A Hermit

I must confess, I’ve always been something of a hermit.  Don’t get me wrong, I do love people, and when among them I can push the “Chatty Kathy” button and talk to anyone.

But I used to want to talk to them on MY schedule, not theirs.  And I was always careful to hold them at arm’s length.  Don’t get too close to anything personal!  Yes, I suppose I can get a bit crabby about it at times, as my little friend here suggests.  🙂

If I had my d’ruthers, I’d Continue reading

Short-Sighted? Read on! (MKMMA Week 6)

Can’t see the forest for the trees?  Yep, that was me! I always lived for the details.

I was an Accountant, for crying out loud! And a darn good one. Then a Professor of Accounting and Management. Then I “graduated” and became a Professional Network Marketer, where “the money is in the list” (I mean details) . . . right?  NOT!!

Ugh – looking back now, that sounds sooooo boring. Although I did and still do love teaching – sharing what I’ve learned with others.

Thanks, MarkJ and Davene, for sharing the following with us. Yes, Continue reading
